Technical Service Representative
Travel Position
As a Technical Service Representative, you will be supporting SE customers with technical issue resolution and training. The TSR works as a team with the Service Manager, Account Manager, and other TSR’s promoting and fostering the use of SE products with customers directly.
Responsibilities:

Responding to customer phone calls, callouts, and field dispatches

Providing preventive equipment maintenance and inspections

Machine commissioning including technical training on new/rebuild equipment installations

Inspecting, troubleshooting, and reporting of all in the field failures
-
Repairing equipment and replacing faulty parts as required

Meeting with the customer to determine the nature of the parts and services needed

Encouraging the customer to use SE products by highlighting the qualities, advantages, and benefits of the product lines and parts offered by SE

Maintaining equipment stock and tooling in the company vehicle

Timely completion of all post job duties including, but not limited to service reporting and timesheets

Maintaining a strong customer relationship through a positive, initiative-taking & professional approach

Mentorship, development, and guidance of less experienced peers

Safe & compliant performance of all activities in line with SE and our customer's EHS guidelines

Maintaining integrity to ensure compliance with state/federal regulatory agencies as well as customers alike

Referencing manuals for part numbers, assisting customers with parts orders, and ordering parts needed for field repairs

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or relevant technical certificate

Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule and locations

Excellent time management, mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills
-
Effective communication and training skills
-
Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
-
2 Year Technical Training or at least 5 years of experience in service/repair of mining equipment. • MSHA underground qualification
